Visiting a church for the first time can be a pretty big step, just getting the family up and ready on a Sunday morning is hard enough – we get that. This page is here to help answer some common questions that you may have if you’re visiting Rancho Community Church for the first time.
What kind of church is Rancho Community?
Rancho Community is a larger, established church with over 40 years of history in the Temecula Valley of Southern California. Temecula is about half way between Los Angeles and San Diego and is a growing community of families. To find out more about our journey from a small community church in the 1960′s to where we are today, click here. Read about the five values that drive what we do as a church here.
What do you have for our kids?
Rancho Community has a safe and vibrant children’s ministry for children in nursery through 5th Grade. Our nursery is clean and secure, staffed with childcare professionals and every parent receives a restaurant style buzzer just in case your little one needs you. Preschool, Kindergarten and Elementary age children enjoy fun crafts, songs, and Bible teaching in their classes.
Club 45 is designed for those older elementary kids and Uprising Middle School is for 6th, 7th & 8th Grades.
High School age students are encouraged to worship with their families in the main worship services (High School has their own services on Tuesday Nights.) Please click on the individual ministries above or from the menu to read detailed information on each of these ministries.
What time & where?
We have 6 worship services every weekend over 2 campuses. Click on the links below for details:
- Temecula Campus: Sunday at 8am, 9:30am, 11:00am.
- Murrieta Campus: Sunday at 10:00am
What is the worship service like?
Our worship services are about an hour and a half long. Services typically begin with upbeat, contemporary style music (Chris Tomlin, Hillsong United, Jesus Culture, etc.), then there’s a welcome time followed by the teaching message. Our services are pretty casual and we encourage families to come together if they choose, especially those with high school students.
What should we wear?
Rancho Community is made up of people from all walks of life and many generations who dress anywhere from super casual to shirts & ties. In other words, just wear what you’re comfortable in – it’s really not that big of a deal here.
Can we meet the Pastor?
Yes. Every week we invite our guests to meet our teaching pastor right after the services. We would love the opportunity to meet you and answer any questions you may have.
